What are the continuing education requirements for a North Carolina real estate license?

North Carolina real estate licensees must complete eight hours of continuing education (CE) annually by June 10th to maintain an active license. This includes a four-hour mandatory update course and a four-hour elective course. CE credits cannot be carried over to the next licensing period. Education providers report completed CE credits to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission on behalf of the licensee.
