Badger Real Estate Seminars Preferred Courses

This course was created and designed to train and instruct REALTORS® on the practical application of the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and fulfills the REALTOR® Triennial Ethics Requirement. 
Every three years, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) requires members to complete a NAR Code of Ethics course in order to remain in good standing with their local, state, and national associations. Courses that qualify and meet this requirement are offered by Associations. This course covers professional conduct, courtesies, business etiquette, and real-life scenarios. REALTORS® are required to provide a valid certificate of course completion to their local associations. The course must be one provided by a local, state, or national REALTOR® Association.
The deadline for all REALTORS® to complete the mandatory Code of Ethics course is 12/31/2024 and every three-year period following that deadline.
Classes that satisfy the NAR requirement for the Code of Ethics course must contain information about the history of the Code, Preamble, Articles of the Code, Standards of Practice, and the Code's Dispute Resolution Process.

Nearly everyone wants to know what’s coming; what the future holds. Real estate agents are no different…they want to know what the market will look like in the upcoming months. Will interest rates rise? Will it be a seller’s or a buyer’s market? Will affordable new homes come on the market? By studying the current indicators and trends economists and real estate analysts are able to provide relevant economic forecasts to navigate the maze of future uncertainty. However, regardless of how much and effort is put into forecast, at the end of the day a forecast is just a prediction and is basically the equivalent of an educated guess.
This course provides an overview of various forecasts and predictions made for the real estate market in 2023 and describes adaptive reuse and accessory dwelling units. Additionally, it provides a review of economic cycles and the economic theory of supply and demand, which is the backbone of real estate markets. The economy affects the overall housing market and impacts your ability to make a living selling real estate. The economy is constantly changing and thus, it is useful to us personally, as well as in our jobs, to understand how things work. Instead of reacting to what takes place, it is important to understand the reasons things are happening and even plan for the different eventualities—economics helps us manage our lives and businesses.
It is intended to enhance the knowledge and effectiveness of real estate licensees and is approved for 4 hours of continuing education.

This course meets the 75-hour pre-licensing curriculum requirement for real estate brokers as set forth by the state of North Carolina.

Required Sessions: 75 hours of computer time logged in the course

Deadlines: All pre-license courses must be completed within 180 days from registration. The final exam and retake exam is included in this time frame.

Course Final Exam: 112 questions taken online and will be monitored using an online proctor.

Format: The course is a read only course. No videos or virtual instructors. Quizzes are sprinkled throughout the course that must be passed in order to move forward in the course.
